Titanic in Brickmouth Quay
Some of the best projects are the ones you never planned. Originally an excuse to build some characters from the obscure 80's TV show "Tugs", the quayside went from a small static display to a shunting layout in 7 months. That then justified an idea I'd been brewing for some time; a Titanic cross section depicting the forward grand staircase.
Totalling around 60,000 bricks the display is by far my most ambitious venture, and by it's nature leaves plenty of room for expansion. At 1:43 scale the cross section only represents around 4.6% of the total ship!
